Deborah McPhail, has joined Bangor Savings Bank as Mortgage Loan Officer serving the Southern Maine Lake Regions. Located at Bangor Savings Bank’s Marginal Way office in Portland, Maine, Deborah brings over 38 years of banking experience to her new role. Prior to joining Bangor Savings Bank, Deborah served in a variety of roles such as Branch Manager, Loan Officer, Business Development Officer, and Mortgage Loan Officer at many financial institutions including Peoples Heritage Bank (now TD Bank), Norway Savings Bank, Evergreen Credit Union, and the Stonecoast Mortgage Company. Most recently, Deborah served as an Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Sales Officer at Androscoggin Bank. Deborah is a graduate of Westbrook High School and attended the University of Southern Maine. She is active in her community, serving as the current Director of the Sebago Lakes Chamber of Commerce, where she has served as the former President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Deborah is the recipient of the 2016 Hall of Fame Award from the Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce. Deborah serves as the Treasurer for the Sebago Lake Rotary Club, where she is the Chair of the Pizza Challenge and Ice Fishing Derby, and is a Paul Harris Award Winner. She is also the Chair of Events at Unity Gardens Senior Apartments in Windham, Maine. In her free time, Deborah volunteers at the Windham Food Pantry, assisting with holiday food drives and senior citizen gift bags. She is also Mrs. Claus in the Naples, Maine Santa Run. Deborah resides in Raymond, Maine with her husband, Roy. Deborah looks forward to continuing to serve Southern Maine in her new role at Bangor Savings Bank.
